This edition of the Michael Parkinson Show was broadcast in 1982; sadly, only one of the participants - Sir Michael Parkinson himself - is still alive.
Buddy Rich is widely regarded as one of the most influential drummers of all time, and his performance here on the "equipment" supplied is jaw-dropping. There's also a fairly impressive tap session from some of the other guests ... I defy anybody to watch this clip without smiling ...
